The Feast of the Blessed John Henry Newman is on Friday 9th October when there will be a Solemn Mass in the Ordinariate Use at 6.30pm in Our Lady of the Assumption and St Gregory, Warwick Street, London W1B 5LZ.
The Celebrant will be the Ordinary of the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham, the Rt Rev Mgr Keith Newton, and the Preacher will be the Rev Dr Stephen Morgan, a leading authority on Newman.
The current issue of The Portal, the Ordinariate's monthly review, features on its cover Emmeline Deane's portrait of Newman painted after he was named a cardinal by Pope Leo XIII.
